Which class do you usually attend? Ladies night, 5:30 am, and Team on Saturday (every Sunday I think I’ll go…still working on actually
How did you find out about CrossFit? Jessica Guest was going and asked me to come. I thought I was way too out of shape. But my husband said, “Are you never going back to the gym?!” So of course I went. And signed up that day.
Did you play sports back in the day? Or was it all smoking butts under the bleachers? Field Hockey and Ice Hockey
How has CrossFit changed your life outside of the gym? Where do I start? I am more level headed, I drink more water, I was introduced to the Whole Life Challenge, lost weight, I’ve met a crew of amazing people, I’ve gotten my husband to the gym- first time we have worked
out together in 17 years. I really enjoy life more.
What and/or who motivates/inspires you? The coaches, the women on Monday nights. Everyone at CFCA is there to get better and to help each other.
Name one goal/personal achievement you would like to achieve with the gains made through CrossFit? More self confidence.
What are your hobbies outside of CrossFit? Crafting/sewing. Gardening.
What’s your favorite aspect of CFCA? The community. It is amazing!
CFCA favorite memory? One of my first classes I was on a rower, not really knowing what I was doing. Jeff gave me some pointers to help with my pulls. He was a veteran gym member, helping a newbie out. I was really grateful :) Also Kathy O’Shea dancing all the time.
